South Beach Diet Meals Phase 1 – I’ve said it many times, “Meal planning is key to healthy eating!” It is very easy for me not to plan meals in America, I can go to the market every day. There are a zillion choices of prepared meals, snacks and deserts at your fingertips. Carb heaven.
I enjoyed the abundance, especially when I first returned to the US from rural Mexico. How happy is it? I am very happy and have a solid 5 kilos to show for it. He panicked. The reality is that Americans are overweight and obese because we have so many choices. From restaurants to fast food, if you have money, nothing will stop you.
South Beach Diet Meals Phase 1
(You should know that feeding the needy is one of my passions and apparently the poorest Americans are malnourished and malnourished because processed food is plentiful and cheap. That’s a topic for another day.)
South Beach Diet Phase 2: How It Works + Food List
My weight gain is not due to lack of good food, but because I can’t control my carb intake. In Mexico, I won’t eat prepared foods full of horrible things, so I make my own: whole granola with agave syrup, fresh salsa and baked corn chips, nuts, olives, cheese, chopped vegetables and fruit.
In the United States there is food for every occasion and I find them all. Chita chips, black nuts, cookies, high calorie mixed nuts and seeds and chocolate chips, triscuits, bread….you get where this is going. Carb heaven, followed by lethargy, bloating and eventually weight gain.
That’s why I started the South Beach Diet to focus on my nutritional goals, reduce my cravings for carbs (drugs), and lose those 5 or 10 US pounds. The South Beach Diet Phase 1 is strict, no nuts, grains, sugar or alcohol. It’s high in protein and healthy fats and should curb your carb cravings when you’re hungry. Phase 2 will also feature good carbs and less fruit and whole grains, which will be closer to my typical Mexican diet.
Ahi Tuna Salad: Toss fresh ahi in ginger, garlic, sesame seeds, soy and sesame oil. Cook quickly. Slice and serve on top of the greens with chopped red onion, capers, a little olive oil and a squeeze of fresh lemon.
South Beach Diet And Example Of Menu
Chicken Verde: Combine chicken pieces with herdez salsa verde, 1 cup chopped onion and 2 cloves garlic and pressure cook or slow cook. It’s just delicious.
Salmon Salsa Grill: Marinate salmon in pico de gallo or any salsa for 30 minutes. Grill for 10 minutes. Serve with grilled zucchini drizzled with olive oil.
Casserole: Heat the pan until thickened, mix in the cheddar cheese and low-fat yogurt and blend in a food processor until smooth.
Lemon Ricotta Dessert: Mix 1 cup of ricotta cheese with a packet of stevia or other sweetener, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice.
Day Low Carb Meal Plan To Lose Weight Fast
I am setting a total weight loss goal of 10 pounds. Today’s weight = +10. I’m following my way back to eating healthy. Later this week, I’ll let you know how I feel about this great diet for Phase 1 South. I follow the original plan from Dr. Agatston, not the South Beach paid program. Here are our favorite South Beach foods to try this New Year. These low-carb, low-sugar, low-protein snacks are also delicious, healthy, and easy to make.
I’m not sure about you, but I tend to miss resolutions for a few months. The priorities are changing. I can’t help it. This is life. right? So for the past few years I have decided to accept life as it comes and make short-term decisions. (type monthly or bimonthly).
My goal for January is to get my diet back on track. In fact, I’m going carb-free in January and following the South Beach Diet Plan. I don’t believe I chose to say anything. Actually, that’s fine. Someone once told me, if you want to achieve a goal, go public. 🙂 I just did!

Women’s Keto Friendly Weight Loss Phase
Are you new to the Southern Diet? It’s a low-carb, low-sugar, high-protein diet with lots of fresh, lean protein and processed foods/sugars. The idea is to fill your plate with foods that contain good carbohydrates and sugar instead of bread, pastries or sweets.
