South Beach Diet First Two Weeks – Welcome to 2021! Everyone’s top New Year’s resolution is to eat, exercise, and feel better. While I think the diet is a scam (Sorry, Weight Watchers.) I believe eating healthy will affect you in a positive way. As someone who comes from a family with diabetes problems, I am always aware of my sugar intake. One diet that completely eliminates sugar and carbohydrates for 14 days is the South Beach diet. Eating most foods can be difficult for people with celiac disease because you’re at a disadvantage with options. For example, people without allergies can buy wheat pasta. Which is healthier than white pasta. For allergy sufferers it is much more difficult.

The South Beach Diet is not inherently gluten-free. But with a few modifications and cuts. You have many options. The diet is mainly protein, milk and vegetables. You’re allowed to “cheat goods” every day, such as cheese, popsicles, yogurt, and fudge pops.

The real highlight of the book for me is the back, which has recipes and meal plans for the South Beach Diet and its success. All the recipes I’ve tried are not only simple but also delicious. My favorite recipe in the book is Egg Cups. I make it even though I’m not trying to be healthy.

The Ketogenic Diet Made Me Thinner — But I Quit Keto Anyway

The South Beach diet is divided into 3 phases. Phase 1 is 2 weeks long and is the most rigorous. You focus on eating high-fiber vegetables, protein, and low-fat dairy products. Phase 2 allows you to gradually increase the banned foods in Phase 1 over the next 14 days or until your goal weight is reached. Phase 3 is unrestricted. Instead, it encourages you to continue with the meal plan for another 2 weeks focusing on the South Beach format. I personally completed Phase 1 and usually one week of Phase 2 before going back to no restrictions.

First of all, this is a gluten-friendly or vegetarian diet. This is because you cut out most processed foods and grains. So you’re probably eating this way by now. Heavy protein and veggies for those lacking carbs. For those who are already vegetarian I don’t have to worry about adding meat. Because these proteins can be a staple in other diets, vegetarians can stick with their favorite protein options.

Secondly, this diet includes 6 small meals throughout the day. when i started dieting I always felt like I was going to be obsessed with food. Because I’m never full. The South Beach Diet believes you should eat breakfast, lunch, dinner, two snacks, and dessert. The diet also encouraged me to drink plenty of water and other beverages. After my fourth day of South Beach, I wasn’t really hungry. Because I’m starting to feel that 6 small meals is a chore. However, eating smaller portions and choosing healthier options can help alleviate afternoon sugar cravings.

Another benefit of the South Beach Diet is meal prep. You plan for two weeks of food by making a list of what you have and what you need to buy. It motivates you to buy what you are going to eat and almost gives you a budget. I appreciate any diet. Anyway, I don’t have to buy “labeled” food, smoothies and popsicles. They are never tasty and are often too expensive. But if that’s what you want, the South Beach Diet sells meal kits and plans, and they’ll ship them to your door.

I challenge you to treat the New Year as a time to recharge and kickstart your diet. Eating better and feeling better can help improve your everyday attitude and encourage a healthy lifestyle.
