After much thought, I decided to stick to a meal plan that was close to the way I eat.

I have a lot of vegan and vegetarian fans, but the truth is, I’m not where the plants are. I wanted to give this site a valuable tool for my audience, and I’m glad I was able to do so for so long.

Although I eat tons of vegetables (like 6 ounces a day) and the occasional vegetarian meal, most of what I eat includes animal protein and is close to junk food.

Simply put, meat, vegetables, and rice are where I thrive, and since most of my recipes reflect that, I can only assume that most of my audience eats like me.

Honesty and transparency are very important to me, so even though I love those plant-based meal plans, I feel like I have to stick to my healthy eating habits.

If you like vegan meal plans, you can access the old ones on my profile (of course I won’t delete them! There are PLENTY to choose from). Other women who have made meal plans are still making them, so you can still find new veggie meal plans if you visit their blogs.

I’m teaming up with my friend Natalie Perry, who writes the Perry’s Plate blog, to make these plans. You may recognize Natalie’s website and her name because I have mentioned her several times on this site. He is my friend!

Natalie is a two-time cookbook author, mother of four, lives in Idaho with her husband and children, and creates amazing food-based recipes. We share the same food philosophy and rely on all natural foods.

Keto On A Budget

Each meal plan has six recipes for dinner and one dessert. We provide a printed grocery list so you can easily buy your food for the week. We post a meal plan every Saturday, and it’s midnight.

If you use Sunday as your meal prep day, print out a grocery list on Saturday to run to the store and prepare for the week!

For each recipe, we will include pre-made suggestions (if needed) as well as appeals for special diets and others.

Because Natalie and I believe in the importance of eating seasonally, each meal plan includes seasonal foods.

Chicken Pasta Spinach Casserole – A classic version of your favorite pesto sauce with chicken and homemade pesto sauce!

Special Diet Notes: The recipe is super basic (Paleo if you use raw milk cheese) and keto / low carb. 30 can be supplemented by omitting the pomegranate cheese.

Make Ahead: The spinach can be roasted up to 4 days in advance and the pesto sauce can be made up to 4 days in advance.

Vegan Paleo Chili – 30 Paleo and Vegan Chili Recipes. (Which means your gluten-free friends can eat it, too.)

Baked Potato Spinach Salad – A nutritious, roasted potato salad topped with avocado, pumpkin seeds, walnuts and a 6-minute egg. This delicious salad makes a filling meal. satisfactory.

Diet Specials/Notes: The recipe is vegan (Paleo if you use feta and raw milk). You can do Whole30 by leaving out cheese. Go low carb/keto by roasting cabbage instead of sweet potatoes

Make Ahead: Sweet potatoes can be baked up to 4 days ahead and served up to 5 days ahead.

Substitutes/Notes: Skip over for Paleo/Whole30. Use your favorite or store-bought salad dressing instead of the dressing in the recipe.

Paleo Orange Bars – Healthy, paleo, grain-free, refined sugar-free, delicious paleo orange bars that are easy to make using leftover celery sauce.

(Note/Notes: If you don’t have cranberry sauce left, use chia jam or cook frozen fruit until it’s jam-like and add natural sweetness.)

}. This is all I can think of that is Paleo friendly. You don’t have to stretch in any way to have all of these things, hey I don’t have all of these things – maybe half the list at any given time. But the point is to give the guys a place to start for your set. So don’t think of this as a be-all and end-all list! Want to go ahead and figure out which foods to add to your grocery list? Important tip to remember: Most of the items on your menu are whole foods and contain only the essentials. If possible, buy most paleo foods at your local farmers market. It will be healthier (and tastier!) in the long run.
