Everyone works differently, but I actually prefer not to limit myself to a certain time frame of 3 weeks. My last round was scheduled for a short 3 weeks but I felt so good that at the end of the 3 weeks I decided to add another week and I just did it every week when I felt like I could add another delay for a few days until i did not complete the full 6 week cycle. It worked well for me. For others, it may be better to commit to the 6-week period beforehand if they feel they are too likely to just quit otherwise.
