When we think about dieting and weight loss, I think it’s safe to say that we all fast. On the Jenny Craig program, I feel like I’m eating all the time! Very seriously! Breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner and dessert! That’s a lot of food!

Getting serious about weight loss doesn’t mean you have to give up enjoying the foods you love. Jenny Craig has over 100 menu items, where 40 professional chefs make the difference. I love food. If you are legit here, you should know.

Jenny Craig food is good. There are some things that I don’t like, but I’ve been surprised by things that I didn’t think I would like, but I really like them! Pumpkin Ravioli is probably one of my favorites! yum!

Honestly, every time I saw one of these ads I thought, “yeah… it works while you’re at it and then you win it all right away.”

It’s bad The goal is to not eat Jenny Craig foods for the rest of your life to maintain your weight loss. Amazing right??? I was just talking about the portion size and that’s where it really comes together. When switching from Jenny Craig food, you need to remember these portion sizes and eat all your vegetables while cutting back on added sugar.

Jenny Craig also has a life plan for when you’ve reached your goal. You will meet monthly with your individual consultant and they will help you along the way.

Losing weight can’t be easy, right? Bad! Seriously, I almost feel a little guilty about posting my weekly weight loss updates on my personal Facebook page. I know I have friends who struggle to lose weight (like me) and have a hard time doing it.

One of the most important aspects of this weight loss program is the meal plans. Jenny Craig claims that healthy food doesn’t have to be bland.

I suggested that you taste these foods, judge their nutritional value, and talk to a professional about your diet. Here is what I found.

In your first week with Jenny Craig you are expected to set weight, activity and food goals. By the end of the first week (if you have the big plan, Maximilian Up), you’ll have seven pre-prepared meals, lunches, dinners, snacks, desserts, and refill bars. The idea is that you will see some weight loss between the first and second weeks of Jenny Craig.

As the weeks progress, you will begin to add your grocery items to your meal plan. The goal is to transition to home-cooked meals once you’re close to your goal weight, with the hope that healthy eating habits will stick with you.

I Love My New Lifestyle And Weight Loss Success With Jenny Craig

Jenny Craig offers three meal plans, depending on how many meals you want per day and whether you need personal training. There are no specific vegan, dairy or gluten-free policies. But you can call and Jenny Craig can help you create a customized plan.

The least expensive plan, at $14 a day, includes a week of lunches and dinners. Best for first timers looking to eat Jenny Craig.

The average price plan, $22 per day, includes a week of breakfast, lunch and dinner. This is a plan for those who want to try a full meal.

The highest plan, at $28 a day, includes all the meals in the Essential plan, but refill bars, activity and quality of life plans, and personal training. This plan offers the most tools for those looking to boost their weight loss. Jenny Craig Max Up Week 1 Menu

If you choose the Max Up weight loss plan, you will have access to a personal trainer’s one-on-one plan every week.

The benefits of a personal trainer include extra help with meal plans, weight and diet goals, exercise tips and advice, the ability to meet virtually or in person, and ongoing support.

My order came directly from the nearest Jenny Craig facility. I received my Jenny Craig order via courier (in my case, DoorDash). It was so easy and I didn’t have to worry about missing a shipment and leaving food at the front door. It goes from my hands to the freezer.

My order includes the following seven items: breakfast, lunch, dinner, appetizers, dessert, and refill bars. This is the equivalent of a Max Up meal plan. Including shipping and tax, my total for the entire week was about $215.

The only way to accurately judge Jenny Craig food is to try it myself. In my test of the Max Up meal plan, I considered variety, nutritional value, and taste. I should stress that I am not a professional food critic, but I think I know what food is.

I don’t generally eat frozen breakfast either, mainly because many of the ones available contain eggs (not a food purity concern, just a fan). Lucky for me, Jenny Craig’s three egg breakfast options include: classic poultices, muffins, and chocolate cinnamon rolls. I went with the waffles.
