This diet is great as a good start for a healthy life, because it teaches you what is good for you and allows only healthy food. It gives visible results in 7 days and weight loss of up to 12 pounds in the first 17 days.
You’ll be eating mostly lean protein, vegetables, low-sugar fruits, probiotics, and “friendly” fats that are heart-healthy and promote fat loss.
Not only will you lose weight, but you will switch from refined and processed foods to clean foods that are good for your digestive system.

The 17 Day Diet Cycle 1

During Phase 1 and throughout the 17-day diet, hydration is key. This is why this cycle includes warm lemon water in the morning, green tea with meals and plenty of water throughout the day.

Cycle 1 is all about detoxification – eliminating sugar and carbohydrates and removing unhealthy toxins from your body. This is the main reason for the rapid weight loss that you will experience during this period. Individual results vary, but a loss of 10 to 12 pounds is not uncommon!
Exercise is limited during period 1. Physical activity is still important, but you stick to low-impact exercise for short periods of time each day.
During period 1, your body will adjust to the lack of carbohydrates and sugary foods you consume. As you flush and flush toxins from your body, you may experience a slight headache or dizziness. Some people also experience low energy levels.
